Welcome to our warm and friendly home, situated just 300m from the unspoilt beach of Ferring and minutes from Worthing and the South Downs.
The house was named ‘Endurance’ by its first owner Leonard Hussey, OBE. Hussey was the meteorologist and explorer on Shackleton’s Imperial Trans- Antarctic expedition, made on the ship Endurance. We are proud of our association with Hussey, who is commemorated with a blue plaque on the house.

We offer a unique B&B experience in that we only ever have one party staying with us at a time. You (and your family/friends) will be our only guests, so we can tailor your stay exactly to your requirements.

The Rooms

We have two bedrooms available.
The main room, located up one flight of stairs, has a King size bed & en-suite shower room.
The second bedroom, (ground floor) is a smaller room with a double size bed & seperate,
private bathroom (shower over bath). Only available when main room is reserved.

We like to welcome our guests with tea and home-made cake on arrival and provide a well stocked hospitality tray, including fresh milk and home-made biscuits in your room.
In the morning, all guests are offered a choice of hot breakfast dishes including full English breakfast along with a selection of juices, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, home made breads and preserves.
We can accommodate any special dietary requirement (with notice) and are also happy to provide packed lunches, snacks and evening meals. Click on menu tab below.
We can also cater for a lunch, afternoon tea or dinner party (up to 8 people) should you wish to invite your local friends/family to dine with you at Endurance.

DOUBLE ROOM
Double size bed, separate (private) bathroom and breakfast
(available ONLY with booking of King size room) £80 per night.
● A discount of £5 per night, per room is applicable to stays of 3 nights or more.
● A deposit to the value of your first night’s stay is required at the time of booking.
It is refundable on cancellations made up to 48 hours before beginning of stay.
